La Liste 2022 features as many as 11 Slovenian restaurants
Another ranking of the world’s restaurants, La Liste, has been published. 1000 restaurants have been included on the 2022 list. They are ranked based on estimates by 970 guides from around the world. 11 are from Slovenia, which is a major success.
La Liste 2022, another ranking of the world’s best restaurants, includes 1000 restaurants, which were evaluated by 970 guides from around the world. They were selected from a giant base with over 25,000 restaurants in 200 countries. The ranking is based on numerous factors, including media articles and ratings, and millions of online ratings and comments that can add or subtract one-tenth of a rating on a 100-point scale.
La Liste was established by Philippe Faure, former director of the French national tourism organization and Gault&Millau. He and his colleagues designed a complex algorithm, which should be as objective as possible. This year’s selection was directed by Helene Pietrini, former director of another influential global ranking, World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Guy Savoy from Paris is again the best, already for the fifth time in a row. The highest ranked Slovenian restaurant is Hiša Franko, which was awarded 92 points. Gostilna Pri Lojzetu and Dam Restaurant both received 86.5 points. La Liste included as many as 11 Slovenian restaurants, next to the above mentioned also Hiša Denk (82 points), Gostišče Grič (81.5 points), Ošterija Debeluh (81 points), Strelec (81 points), Mak Restaurant (80.5 points), JB Restaurant (76.5 points), Cubo Restaurant (76 points) and Danilo Restaurant (76 points).
