The fresh look of the Šport Hotel Otočec restaurant

Šport Hotel in Otočec had to reposition itself in the shadow of its prestigious neighbour Hotel Grad Otočec (the same owner) and also because of the changed traffic flows, when it lost its transit position. But gained gained quietness and peace.

The hotel was gradually renovated, including hotel rooms, wellness, garden and swimming pool, all the way to the technological renovation of the kitchen and last but not least, the restaurant. Since the food served there will be very international (but still based on local ingredients), D&K architects decided to create a colourful cosmopolitan-style restaurant.

The architects managed to transform the outdated restaurant into a colorful open cosmopolitan space. The reception desk and the aperitif bar are now combined, thus freeing up some space. One of the main elements in the room are metal barriers, which create different levels of transparency by layering small nets. Numerous plants and wooden chairs imply that the food served at the restaurant will be healthy and locally produced. On the other hand, wooden chairs make the atmosphere warmer and not as cold and industrial.  

Šport Hotel in Otočec is a great plae to stay, if you are in search of indulgent wellness services to vigorous exercise. The hotel specialises in themed rooms with sports equipment to help you warm up in the morning for an active day. The Hotel also boasts the title of hiking and biking hotel and is an excellent starting point for many outdoor activities. The pleasures of thermal spring water are available in the spacious hotel pool. In addition, small pets are welcome as well.
